A lesson learnt

Work while you work,
Play while you play,
This is the way
To be happy each day.

All that you do,
Do with your might,
Things done by half
Are never done right.

This was a poem that I read years ago, not being aware of its importance when life becomes complicated. Who knew I'll be coming back to square one only to practice what I had known all this while. Our initial years of learning are very crucial as they mould our thoughts and guide us to our calling. Remember times when all of a sudden you hear a voice inside your head asking you whether what you are doing is what you wanted to do. And then you slip into a trans and pass by various phases of life's aspirations that you held once upon a time. How fast have those years flown by. How fast those seasons have changed. How quickly have the people come and gone. How soon you have lost and found yourself, right in this moment of retrospection.
Any gains? Any losses? You won't know it until you are pushed to the wall. And then will you measure up each effort you fell short of or were afraid of putting to the opportunities thrown at you.
What a waste! What a challenged view! Have you been able to overcome the inefficiency or whatever that 'miss' was called?
If you are waiting for an answer, you will be running in this circle time and again.
If you move on with a plan, you might just be able to walk the line.
If you move on, you shall be moving on forever into no-return-land of the vicious circle of life.
